Who put pyros in my mouth?
end of semester killss but it's almost done so the laziness(physically) can begin!
here's a panel from the marker project we had to work on. it's my favorite, but ironically it's the one I put the least amount of time on. Kind of disappointed with the other ones. I mean russia was pretty cool. I might as well put that one on too.
But yep, markers are really really hard to use, and I applaud the work I've seen done on Castlevania: Symphony of the Night and Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time for their absolutely gorgeous character illustrations done in marker. Honestly, I really don't understand how to properly use markers, and I think I'll put use to these 100+$ markers sometime soon to get a better understanding of them.

random sketch based off someone's character sketch :)
annd here's what I handed in for my photoshop project,
i'd like to fix a few things during the break, like some sort of action between the city and travelers. a crashed spaceship, and the foreigners look yonder to discover some sign of highly intelligent beings. But for now I think I'll leave it alone for a bit; been staring at rocks for too long. Also, there's a few surfaces that aren't exactly clear nor does the perspective make a shred of sense, but I tried :P
health update: pretty much healed, except for Monday morning where I almost puked on a woman next to me, but at this rate that seems pretty normal. Gotta watch what I'm gunna eat this holiday, yo.

White hair dye for grizzly bears
my initial rendering for the Martian Matte painting photoshop project. thanks to xin for helping out a lot, though i still need some fixing to do, that's what I'll stick with for tonight
Feeling quite a bit better from yesterday, as a hot shower relieved me of that excruciating headache. Dizziness remains!
Also, I've been reading "Eye of the World" part of the Wheel of Time saga... and I'm enjoying the heck out of it. Though I can't say I'm the strongest reader out of my bunch of friends, I'm taking my dear sweet time absorbing the world that Robert Jordan is creating in front of me. I recommend it for any fantasy genre fan.

My body is not ready
worked a bit more on the bust.
I recently caught some sort of illness on saturday evening and it's been chopping away at my motivation to do work.. so you can kind of imagine how hard it was to show you this. Anyway, tomorrow i'll post my progress on my photoshop project and whatnot, i'll let you know how i'm feeling too :(

In fact, you don't even exist.
A quick acrylic painting, vehicle in marker rendering and a model sketch, quite happy with all of them.
Starting to feel the end of semester crunch, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't enjoying it. I've been working on my flash animation final all day; might as well post my story board along with this post.
Pardon the incompleteness, but the punchline is supposed to be the smaller fish eating the character after he escapes. :) It's a really fun project, and although I have worked on animation projects before (and they were a bit longer than what this one will last) I believe doing this project contained a lot of interesting planning and organization to successfully get through it. Hope there's more in this field for me in the future.
Recently, I've been painting a lot.. But after attending an exposition, my friend Xin suggested I work on my values, as most of my paintings are not within a reasonable value range. He sent me a marble bust picture and I've been working on it on and off all week, and here's what I got so far.
Some shapes are off, but I was actually pretty impressed with myself in understanding the form and where the light falls. Will update further...
