I've been so mean to you, blog. Teasing you for the past couple of weeks but deciding not to post... Oh, how mean of me.

But seriously, will make for more time after these silly summer courses subside and allow me for more time. I've gotten a dog since last we've met, and it's been somewhat of a life altering experience. Huskies are definitely a lot of work, sometimes work I often feel I don't want to do, but... so far it's been pretty worth it. Here's a picture of her:

well I wish I could do a digi sketch err day, but it seems like I can't find the time to do it these days..

except for yesterday, which was awesome. so here are some things

this is an assignment we had to do in 3d. Really learned a lot from this.

and here's a little test in which I learned a lot from zbrush

hours of video tutorials and looking up how to do this finally paid up for something.. though it ain't so pretty I'm kind of happy with what I got haha.

Hey, the hiatus is broken!

Mostly traditional medium post here, but i'll start with the only digi.

Moving on, these were a few of character design assignments for a class (pardon the poor quality)

Now, Today we were assigned to draw other classmates for a lead-up to a painting. I failed on pretty much all of the drawings so here's something to make myself feel a bit better. (even though it isn't that accurate D:) Been practicing other people around my house, but I don't think they're good enough to post here. I'll keep updating with portraits this week, hopefully.

Yep, so while I was working on today's daily.. my computer BSoD.

they're all kind of busy. I do like the top-most one, so I think I'm going to simplify it and color it during the coming weekend.

Grr still upset about that random crash.. totally going to bed with nightmares about it, I'm sure.

testing out the custom shape tool technique introduced by sparth and the results were pretty cool. I might do another one of these tomorrow, maybe with more than one shape being used, since I exclusively used only one random shape I made.

Really fun to use and forces you to pay attention to what's going on your layer
